I loathe that we seem to be stuck with the crashes/destroyed Rigellian Christmas ship, when the original was SOOOOO much nicer. If I had realised it would be an irrevocable change, I never would have finished that boss-fight Quest Line. And we get two more big arse guns (one whole, one ruined) to find places for. So much for them being “special” items we used to be proud of having. =( =(

Nice that it was a more relaxed event. Just finished it and now I plan to craft a few poinsettias and rest till they change.
Wonder if the snow will be staying a little or not. To see all bright green when outside is all white feels strange.

The poinsettias are also the center of my attention here  I plan to get more of them. I wonder how they will look like after the snow is gone. So, finished two rounds of the Re-Gifting machine. I figured it would just recycle again. Nope. I now win 10(!) lousy crafting currency. WTF? Not even ice tiles? At least give 100 or 200 crafting currency. 10 is just silly. You get more than that each round.

Even though the event its not finished yet? Yup, you can only do two rounds of the full Mystery Boxes to get actual prizes (I too had hoped for tons more Ice. I think the final total was 50, all together?) and then you go through 6 rounds of the mach8ne to get a big whopping 20 wood for the crafting. Total waste. |

The boxes from the Funzo game must be rigged.
In my first round I got first all the ice tiles, then the landmark and then the two hills.
Second round was first all the ice tiles, then the landmark. End of act 1, so no more tries in the second round (only the two hills were left in the box).
In the third round I got first all the ice tiles, then the landmark and at last the two houses.
Now I'm on the fourth round and guess what: I first got all the ice tiles, just got the landmark and the two items left are the houses.

So, the 2017 holiday event ends today. Do we expect that they will take it down today and replace it with a mini-event or just let us have a short break? I for one would like a break in order to figure out where to put all of this new stuff in my town.

I just got an in-game update that removes the Christmas update (no more crafting, wrapping paper, etc.), but left the snow. There was a message about sending people to fight the Rigelians, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Only message was regarding to the daily challenge which was replaced because there are no more funzos to tap. |

Am I the only one who forgot about the boss fights? I did the quest line and sent Buddha to fight the Rigelian aliens. But I didn't do any after that. I am somewhat disappointed about the fact that the nice animated job with the rigelian spaceship “fight the rigelian aliens” is a event-only task. It looked so nice and I hoped for that animation to be a permanent one.  It looks like I was too soon with my disappointment feelings  After all the much-loved animation is now a permanent task.   Plus we got the spaceship skin to choose from wether we want it to be the destroyed spaceship or the intact one. The permanent tasks are all 4 hours tasks.   |
