Already tired of grinding for this event. Why must the same characters that are grinding monorails and donuts be used for this event? 100s of characters now and we just use the same few for everything.

I think it's because they're the characters everybody has. If you use some of the more random characters, you risk alienating players that have just started and don't have everybody yet. |

The Itchy & Scratchy Bot is part of Cyber Monday (Nov. 26-27). Black Friday runs four days, through Monday, and There Will Be Boxes -- "Black Friday, Gold Box, Silver Box, Bronze Box, Building Box, Character Box, Decoration Box, Great Outdoors Box, Retail Box". Looks like you'll get a token for the gold box on Black Friday when you log in. "The decorations limit was increased to 10,500" and 13 more kids can use the moonbounce. The building in the prize track is the Slaughter restaurant and the decoration is Sir Loin-A-Lot, and they're from Maximum Homerdrive (1999). Tapping Bigclaw "3 times a day yields 50XP and either $250, $500, or 2 Pharma pills each time." Any new items? All I can see is old ones that I have or didn't want the first time. |

Actually I have been farming like crazy for Black Friday and the Christmas event. I recently crossed that tipping point in my game where farming is profitable. Right now I earn an average of 46 donuts a day. By Sunday the 26th I can spent 700 donuts on Black Friday and then have 500 donuts left to start the Christmas event with.......this is the first time I have ever been able to have a big Donut splurge without using a Google Gift Card someone gave to me as a present.
But with that said....I looked at the list of Black Friday. There only 4-5 things I would really want (i.e. Little Lisa's Recycling Plant / Kamp Krusty w Kamp Bart / etc...), but they are in Boxes with 180 other things I wouldn't buy if given the choice right now.
I am going to get the Holo-Bundle and Teleportation Bundle....I missed those when I stopped playing for a bit...those I am looking forward to.
So...if I don't get much in Black Friday and I get what I want after the Christmas Event starts and I still have a mess of donuts burning a hole in my pocket...then I will just use my excess donuts on the Mystery box over and over and upgrade my XP Bonus another 100%

I only make about $200,000 per login at the moment so Bloodmobile / Rat Traps are still not feasible for me. But that is enough for me to do 45 KEMs plus enough left over cash to make sure each Bonut prize is 3 donuts. Since after building the KEMs and clearning tasks I get 3 or 4 Bonut prizes a log in I get 9 to 12 Bonuts a log in. I would classify myself as an EVENT FARMER. Since during events I log in every 4 hours I will farm (avg 45 a day). During non event times I will log in twice a day and farm (avg 20'ish Bonuts a day). For me the tipping point for making Farming very profitable and reasonable was maxing my SH with around 250% normal Bonus.....you can (and I did) certainly farm well before this but this seemed to be the point where I really started raking it in. The Best way to really up your XP % after the maxing all Beach Houses and buying and maxing all other SH buildings (SH gives you hidden XP %).......is to use the normal Mystery Box for 6 donuts. Once you get all the unique items, there is a pattern of the cycle of the repeating 9 items, including 10 & 30 donut awards and Itchy & Scratchy Billboard (1%) and Channel 6 New Van (2%). I did a spreadsheet to confirm my cycle pattern and how many donuts per Bonus % ROI (return on investment). So I set a budget of 150 donuts....plus use any of the 10 & 30 donut awards I get. So I averaged 6.9 donuts per % point which is more than double the best (and cheapest) rate anywhere else the game to increase your Bonus %. So now in a little corner of my town I have a row of News Vans and Billboards!  Here is what happened.... Starting Donuts..............860 Total Donuts Spent...........312 Total Donuts Won.............160 My Total Donut Cost (-Winnings).....152End Donut Total..............708 Total Mystery Box Purcha......52 Total % Increase..............22.00%Avg % per Donut...............0.42% Avg Donut per %...............6.9 Starting Bonus %..............403.65% Current Bonus %...............425.65% Total % Increase..............22.00% I also calculated how long it would take me to get to 1,000% visible XP with putting all donuts to the Mystery Box. And at my current % it would only take 3 months....which would be less because my XP % could be increasing along the way. So after I get all the Christmas event stuff I want I will be focusing on that and I will be at 1,000% Visible XP (Plus whatever my maxed SH hidden XP is) by around the end of Feb. Can we upload docs on this forum? If so, I can share my spreadsheet so you can use it to figure out your XP growth and Mystery Box projections. |

This way the money is getting lesser but slowly than if I would just put them into the inventory and not selling them off again. And what do I need hundreds of blood mobiles anyway in my inventory? So I would recommend to everyone who purchase these for the donuts reward ... don’t forget to sell them off afterwards, so you’ll get some money back at least.

Yes no matter if KEM or Blood Mobile / Rat Trap farming.....sell them back after placed in your town and you will get 25% of your cash back to buy the next round!   |

Oh boy Black Friday is a let down. I appreciate them trying to shake it up (and I do buy mystery boxes during events), but these are not good. If these were the hourly prizes on a normal black friday, I wouldn't be setting my phone alarm very often, so I'm even more loathe to spend donuts on a CHANCE to win the only couple things I like.
I don't have all these things, but I do have a lot of them. That does lessen the fun factor. Maybe Monday's box will be all NEW stuff for long-term players, especially cause we got hosed on Halloween prizes.
