I've just gone though each Treehouse of Terror from series 1-10, and I think we have everything from them. So I guess there's nothing else good for us to collect. There's still some things I'd want, especially the eyesores. (III) Zombie Shakespeare, Geo. Washington, Einstein, Skinner, Mel, Krusty, Flanders (IV) Bus gremlin, Vampire Simpsons (V) Axe-wielding Maggie, Frozen Simpsons (VI) 50-Ft Eyesores -- Zip Boys, Duff Cowboy, Swami, Red Devil Realty, Brockman, Paul Bunyan & Babe Optometry, Mr Peanut, Mustachioed Man in Tuxedo with Mallet; Van Brunt & Churchill Ad Agency with Paul Anka (VIII) Mutants; Fly-headed Bart; Gopher Wiggum More Dolphins |

I was expecting more items to go with the new train station. Maybe in part 2 or 3? Otherwise I'm just happy I got the old game resolution and ability to pan out much farther with this last patch update. I've really been missing it since the vast majority of my Springfield was laid out when I could see whole sections at a time.  Anyone else able to pan out this far? I like that I can zoom out and see more.. I don't like that all of the text is now much smaller. I play on a galaxy s7.. I haven't noticed a change in my daughter's town on her iPad tho. |

Just wondered if anyone else noticed that in addition to two strips of land, you can now continually make monorail track (and get 5 donuts), not just once a week now.

I've noticed that about the monorail as well.. however the last 2x I completed all tasks I was awarded 20 random tack pieces+20 donuts and I'm currently working towards a second tunnel |

I've noticed that about the monorail as well.. however the last 2x I completed all tasks I was awarded 20 random tack pieces+20 donuts and I'm currently working towards a second tunnel In the 3 weeks between the Monorail Tunnels you can earn the Monorail Stations. If you have them from the event you get donuts instead. After the second tunnel you get 5 donuts. |

As far as is kind of event goes (which I don't really like), the theme is ok. The animation is funny. But I don't like it overall. I'm bored with this style and the prizes are mostly repeats. But more than that? It doesn't feel like Halloween. Even if THOH 2017 has this as a segment, it still won't feel like Halloween. If you swapped out some of the craftables from leftover previous THOH to leftover Clash of Clones, it wouldn't make any difference. This could have been done in April and felt just as Halloween-y as it does right now. I guess the next two acts could feel more Halloween-y, but I'm not feeling it. Costumes and monsters don't make Halloween in and of itself when most of the events have costumes and monsters. Darkening the screen and throwing in some bat craftables doesn't do it either.
Oh and Gil is wandering around selling a dragon for 199 donuts.

Has it already been five years..!? Those were the days! This is when I just started playing - and I caught the last week of that event. That general format was used for a while and I recall players complaining about having to generate another type of currency and how laborious that was. I also recall some complaints about having to go to so many neighbors to generate additional currency. I think due to those, EA changed to this current format for events. But now people are complaining about this format. Maybe it's time to return to the former format for a bit? I will agree with one item, this event - as of this moment - does not feel very Halloween-y. I get the goblins and wizards and such, but there's something not quite there. Maybe we need more spooky music or a darker setting? More clouds and gloom? |
