I'm a little surprised that we didn't see another event today. It's been three weeks since the last one ended and that's one of the longer breaks between events we've seen in a while.

I hate that there are no "leaks" anymore. Is seems to me the leaks helped manage our expectations at the same time they psyched us up. I thought there'd be something today too.  |

It hasn't been since the early days of TSTO that we've had that long of a break between events. |

Yeah, we're not getting an event until next week at the earliest. I'm starting to think EA has run out of ideas for events.

Gotten used to continuous events. I guess the down time is nice but a bit boring to be just clearing town once a day. And even that I'm doing mostly out of habit...

Well finished the quest line. It leads to nothing. Maybe this is some sort of a tie in for next week. Either way this down time is too long for me.

Here's a story line: Bring in some missing characters not yet in Springfield (or in limited appearances)!
1) The big one is Sarah - Chief Wiggum's wife and Ralphie's mother. She didn't appear in a lot of episodes, but they have far, far less important characters in the game, so why not her? It could even be called the "Quest for Ralphie's Mom" or something like that. If EA can create a new character for the game and even have "dead" characters appear, Sarah Wiggum should return.
2) Phil Harman's characters haven't appeared and why not? The best way to honor him IS to have those characters in the game, not pretend they never existed. While Hartman's estate may own the voice rights (for whatever reason), The Simpsons franchise would own the characters. They could even have a Selma's Marriages quest with one of Hartman's characters (Troy McClure).
3) And of course, having Gil as a real character, not just a guy with deals.
Just a few thoughts of characters I'd like and quests that could be fun.

Doctoru2I agree with all your comments, but especially with your second point. That garbage that they ignore Phil Hartman's characters out of "respect" really annoys me! I understand retirement on the show where a voice replacement isn't possible, but in a game where 75% of the characters don't speak I don't see an issue. |

I lost so much time with my health issues and still having them and it's taking me longer than I thought to get back into into the game. I can no longer keep up with the events, I still have my server with all the data being transferred to it everyday, but it's only ever same day release. The only spoilers I could leak is the day of the event when the content is uploaded before the App Store updates appear, but that window is so close now, use to be half a day at least, now it's merely under an hour, unless there is a delay. EA ruined my fun, and with copycats as well, I'm not knocking them and some of them I taught, but the information is already out there more than 20 times over after I reveal anything. Maybe that's why I am unable to get back into it, the anticipation of knowing something and sharing it so that others can get ready for it, rather than it happening randomly. The only thing I can leak nowadays are the event prizes and characters in the later acts of the event. I think I need motivation too, to come back here, and I only came by to look for some chatter of what people here think of the Futurama game and if others would agree with me that it's such a shame TinyCo got it, as that rules out any Tapped Out / Futurama crossover, and also maybe rules out any Futurama characters coming into Tapped Out for what ever reason. Also TinyCo make you spend money, with Tapped Out you can complete storylines without having to spend money, or pressured to because you have a time limit of 1 hour to unlock a character. Anyway I've typed too long and gone way off topic. I miss me too... |
