I don't know if it's my phone, not being logged in, or that my phone is much newer than the ipad but I have a different splash screen on the phone. On the tablet I have the one that's been posted earlier in the thread but on my phone I have this: I kind of like this different one better than the one on my tablet.

Ditto mine (Nexus 7 2013 model, and galaxy s4) are both the one with kirk van houten..

Have you upgraded your phone to latest version of IOS? It is supposed to install a different version of apps than you will get on devices running a different IOS level.

Ah, that may be it then. My phone is still ios8. It's not a big deal. I just never realized there were different splash screens for different devices/software. Though now that I think about it, if that's the case... Both my phone and my ipad are ios8 and both have different screens. Oh well, again, not a big deal. Just never noticed different screens before.

I've done the 9.01 and 9.02 updates on the iPad and it's still not working right. Thankfully the problem only affects Game Center games so TSTO is still playable, but that doesn't help the rest of my games.

Hmm... might have to fire up the 'ol Tapped Out again for this event.
Now if only I could remember my password...
